Who We Are

Missoula 3:16 Rescue Mission is a ministry to the homeless and hurting in Missoula. We began our work with the homeless and needy in November 1999 through a street ministry under the Higgins Street bridge.

Mission

Our Mission is to be God's hands, feet and heart to the hurting, poor and homeless of the Missoula area as we share, care for, educate, and equip them with the healing and victory that is available through a personal relationship with God.

School of Christ

A major piece of the re-opening of the men's program was to find an adequate location, and the Lord has done just that! He has provided a beautiful residence in the country. The new School of Christ building is 4700 square feet and sits on 1.6 acres. This property is a bank-owned reposession which allowed Missoula 3:16 to move in for much less than the current market value. On top of all that, the Lord also provided a wonderful couple to provide the financing for us. God is able!

The Men's Life Regeneration Program constitutes a primary focus of the mission from its earliest beginnings. We live in a society which is taking a large toll on families and especially children. By working with the men in our community, helping them become healthy and whole, we not only change society today one person at a time, but we help create a future with one less troubled child or broken marriage. Focus on the Family has indicated that when a man comes to Christ, 90% of the time the whole family will come to Christ.

The School of Christ (SOC) will increase the men's success rate dramatically. We are so excited to watch God unfold all the details.
