Who We Are

Missoula 3:16 Rescue Mission is a ministry to the homeless and hurting in Missoula. We began our work with the homeless and needy in November 1999 through a street ministry under the Higgins Street bridge.

Mission

Our Mission is to be God's hands, feet and heart to the hurting, poor and homeless of the Missoula area as we share, care for, educate, and equip them with the healing and victory that is available through a personal relationship with God.

Volunteer

Call Darlene Lopez, our Volunteer Coordinator, who is taking calls from potential volunteers.
She can be reached at 529-6240 or leave a message at the Missoula 3:16 office, 542-5240.

The urgent need for volunteers:

  • Day Center workers - anywhere from 4 to 8 hour shifts. Help serve meals, check in back packs, help with food boxes, build relationships with guests.
  • Food pick-up - a 1 to 3 hour shift picking up food donations on Saturday and Sunday.

Much needed positions:

  • Drivers - men who would be listed on an "on call" list to help get our School of Christ residents to appointments.

You can help in many ways:

  • Day Center ministry (8am to 2pm)
  • Food pickup (Saturday, Sunday, or Monday)
  • Tutoring
  • Office support
  • Food service
  • Miscellaneous jobs
  • Chapel service

Volunteers, you are the heart of the Ministry!

For further information and/or questions you may have, or to volunteer, please feel free to call us at the Mission office. Our office hours are 9am to 12pm, Monday through Friday.
